Susan.
In the film, Susan is a little girl and is seen to be extremely intelligent for her age and for the fact that she’s a regular human child. She doesn’t seem to be very scared considering she’s on an alien planet and she is quite patronising to the adults. TV Susan is easier to relate to despite the fact she is an alien, she’s kinder, more helpful and fun.
In these scenes where the Susan’s write to the Thals under Dalek supervision, TV Susan is a lot more playful and giggly, and the Daleks seem to prefer the minimalist approach to decor; whereas film Susan writes the letter around the Daleks and their apparent taste for lava lamps in groovy designs. As a rule, the film opts for much more of a camp feel with its psychadelic colours, Thals with glittery eye shadow and salmon coloured walls in the city.
