"As we learn about each other, so we learn about ourselves."- First Doctor.

(Click through to see them properly)

For some mad reason after not being able to find early scripts, we decided to write them up ourselves so we would get an idea of what the scenes would have looked like in script form. We’ve done the first couple of scenes from An Unearthly Child (which was very dialogue based, so little stage direction.) and have written it in script format as what Doctor Who would be written like now as we’re not entirely sure of the script format in the 60’s or whether it’s changed at all. We doubt it’s changed much.

We find this useful for references and quotes so we may do more of them. Although we’re not doing any camera direction or the such because the scripts would not go into detail about shots, lighting or acting. There would be separate scripts for those (scene breakdowns, camera scripts, shooting scripts). We just want to do the script from a scene by scene with dialogue and minimal action as it would have been.

It just would be so interesting to see the scripts, so we thought oh well, we’ll write them as how we imagined them being. The only one we own is The Masters of Luxor (The un-produced serial that was intended for the second serial and is now an audio) so we had little to draw from.
